Criminal Investigations Division (CID)

 

The Marble Falls Police Departments Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is comprised of a Captain, five Sergeant Investigators, a School Resource Officer, a Warrant officer and an Administrative Technician.

Marble Falls Police Department CID personnel bring a wealth of diversified police experience to the job and are highly trained and well equipped to deal with the crimes committed by the modern criminal element.

Four Sergeant Investigators are charged with the investigation of crimes and criminal activity occurring within the jurisdiction of the Marble Falls Police Department.

One Sergeant Investigator is assigned to the 33rd/434th Judicial District Methamphetamine Initiative Group (MIG).

The School Resource Officer (SRO) is a uniformed officer charged with investigation of all offenses occurring on and around the properties of the Marble Falls Independent School District (MFISD) and works closely with MFISD administrators, teachers and students to maintain a safe and healthy environment on all MFISD campuses within the City of Marble Falls.

The Warrant Officer is a uniformed officer charged with the service of active warrants for the City of Marble Falls Municipal Court (Refer to the link reference outstanding warrants) and prisoner transport when required. The Warrant Officer also assumes the position of Court Bailiff for the City of Marble Falls Municipal Court as needed.

The Administrative Technician is a civilian position providing administrative support to the CID Captain and staff.
