In accordance with the Texas Public Information Act, citizens may request a copy of an accident report, offense report, or arrest report. All requests must be made in writing through the mail or in person and must include at least the date of the incident, location and the name of the party involved. All requests made through the mail need to include a self-addressed stamped envelope or toll free fax number in order for us to return the information to the requestor. We cannot release information over the phone. Please allow five to ten business days for our Agency to complete our reports before making a request.
All requests are subject to the following fee(s):
Accident Reports - $6
A collision involving one or more vehicles
Offense Reports - $.10 per page for reports over 10 pages
Any Call For Service (CFS) received by our Agency that includes but are not limited to burglaries, lost property, assault, etc.
Arrest Reports - $.10 per page for reports over 10 pages
Any report that involves an arrest. Juvenile arrest reports are not public information.
