Animal Control is performed by one civilian uniformed officer. The Animal Control Officer is responsible for the capture, care and feeding of lost/abandoned animals including the adoption of animals not claimed by an owner after 72 hours.

Animal Control hours are Monday through Friday, except holidays, from 8am to 5pm. Adoption hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 2pm to 4pm at our Animal Control Facility located at 100 Avenue L.

Adopt-A-Pet!

All dogs and cats that are owned and kept within the city limits of Marble Falls are required to be licensed through the Marble Falls Police Department. To license your pet, please contact Animal Control at (830) 693-3611. Licenses are $10 annually per pet. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required in order to obtain a city license.
